MY WORK

Teaching

As an educator,

I have worked internationally, teaching Acting, Voice, Creativity, Theater for Social Change and Social and Emotional Learning through interactive theater based activities and creative practices.

I currently offer individual and groups lessons on:

  • Voice and public speaking: through a process of self discovery and awareness these classes can help you free your natural, authentic voice, finding confidence by connecting with your own inner power.
  • Theater and Acting: I teach different classes for beginners or experienced actors, using engaging activities, games, improvisation, scene work and the exploration of different theater techniques.
  • Drama Therapy and Creative Arts Therapies. Using diverse creative arts methods and practices, such as psicodrama, role play, Theater of the Oppressed, these individual or group sessions are designed to meet each client’s specific objectives.
  • Social and Emotional Learning: using theater based practices and other engaging activities, these trauma informed classes aim to improve emotional agility, better understanding and managing emotions, setting and achieving positive goals, feeling and showing empathy for others, establishing and maintaining positive relationships, and making responsible decisions.
I have taught in schools, companies and other institutions through ENACT (USA).  I have worked in Universities, such as the City University of New York (CUNY), New York Film Academy and the Instituto Superior de Estudios Psicológicos (Spain). I am also currently teaching at Ipsimed (Spain).
